A Little Trim Can Make All the Difference

I was asked to add trim to a clients plain cream lampshades. Trim is wonderful. There are so many different styles of trim to suit all tastes. Trim is one of those finishes that reminds me of painted nails and lip gloss. Just a little detail that can make all the difference. A finishing touch. And very easy to do..............

All that is needed is a hot glue gun and a pair of scissors. If you dont have a hot glue gun........you should really grab one, they are so useful to have.........

These were my clients shades, they are Laura Ashley, very plain.............

So cut your trim to size

Using the hot glue gun, run glue around the inside edge of the trim and then quickly arrange the trim in place, the glue dries quickly and is hard to budge once its set so work quickly and precisely

Cut to size when you are happy with the positioning

A 5 minute job that adds detail to a plain shade

Two shades that will be placed in a formal setting.....................
