It makes sense that styling your home should be a natural extention of how you style yourself...... the way you dress and the way you present yourself to the world. Your true style will make you feel comfortable and confident as you walk out that door. Your home should be a reflection of who you are and your personal style, not whats on the showroom floor that season.
Here is a simple way to work it out...........
Who are you????........edgy, classic, country, vintage, glamourous, bohemian (arty and quirky), minimalist ..............if you are not sure then look in your wardrobe and check out the stuff you love wearing, the items that say yes this is me. Is there any common denominator? Do you go for the florals or do you stick to black and white, maybe you love to wear vintage...............Once you agree on your personal style then its easy to extend that look into the home and not get so side tracked with the trends. Its great to have your home compliment who you are...................... So ask yourself is this really me before you make a "non disposable" purchase..............
